These endlinks are shortened for modified cars that need a shorter endlink length for clearance and proper installation of the sway bar due to coilovers, aftermarket LCAs, and other mods that alter the sway bar mounting points or geometry.
SPL front adjustable swaybar endlinks for the Toyota GR86 / GT86, Subaru BRZ, and Scion FR-S feature massive PTFE-lined FK 1/2" bearings to provide the highest load capacity for use with stiffer aftermarket sway bars. Custom heat-treated chromoly high-misalignment studs allow for extreme articulation angles (up to 65°) to prevent endlink bind when used with adjustable sway bars.
Unlike OEM, SPL endlinks are adjustable, enabling you to eliminate unwanted preload on the sway bars, set the ideal bar angle, and properly corner balance your car. The result is better handling, more sway bar tuning options, and less variation in performance between right-hand and left-hand turns.
Benefits
- Large Adjustability Range
- Eliminates Swaybar Preload
- Correct Swaybar Install Angle
- Lightweight, High Strength Construction
- Self-Cleaning, US Made, PTFE-Lined FK Bearings
Materials
- 6061-T6 Aluminum Turnbuckle (Anodized Black)
- FK PTFE-lined 65° Studded Rod Ends (F1 Spec, Self-Cleaning)
Easy, On-Car Adjustments
The 6061-T6 turnbuckles use opposing thread patterns (RH and LH) to allow you to adjust the length while it is still installed. Simply turn the turnbuckle to lengthen or shorten the link to the exact desired length and snug the jam nuts.
Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH)
The front endlinks are a moderate contributor to NVH. They connect the body (swaybar is mounted to chassis) to the front struts which are hard mounted to the knuckles. This creates a rigid load path for tire vibrations to be transmitted to the chassis, resulting in more tire noise. How much more road noise is transmitted depends on several factors, namely the tires, speed, frequency of the noise, etc. Spherical endlinks can also make the occassional noise over asymmetrical bumps, like driving one wheel at a time over a speed bump or reversing out of a sloped driveway.
The front endlinks however, do not increase ride harshness.
Suitable for all uses, from daily driver to race car.

COILOVERS/SETUPS MAY ALTER ENDLINK LENGTHS
Some coilovers and/or setups may require shorter endlinks for proper clearance of the LCA. These endlinks (SPL FES FRS) are purposely shorter for cars that are modified and require the shorter length. They can be adjusted between 7.40" (188mm) and 8.90" (226mm), measured between mounting points. We offer a longer, OEM length endlink setup (SPL FE FRS) that can be adjusted between 9.15" (232mm) and 10.65" (271mm).

Finally a front end link that works!
I've ran several aftermarket front end links with aftermarket sway bars on my FR-S and these are the first set that are the correct length such that the sway bar does NOT come into contact with the front LCA. These are built with super high quality components and include mounting hardware that offsets the heim joint in such a way that it does not come into contact with the sway bar or mount point on my coil overs. If you are looking for a no contact solution, this is it. Thank you SPL for finally solving my problem. - Bob
